7th Year Anniversary!

7th Year Wedding Anniversary

Time really does go by fast! We can't belive it's been 7 years!
We've been living here in Washington now for about 2 1/2 years and we are loving it. We've learned so much on how to trust and depend on Jehovah. He has blessed us in many ways that we are very appreciative. Even though we've had different curveballs thrown to us in our journey living in a different state away from family and friends, we have seen the good come from it all. We have grown so close to this small yet loving congregation. We have grown as a couple spiritually and now as parents. There's still so much that we want to do in our Service to Jehovah as a family. So we are leaving it in Jehovah's hands and doing as much as we can and waiting to see where he wants us next!

Below are some pics of us as a family celebrating our anniversary at home. A good friend of ours and her sister made us some of their authentic Italian meal. It was meatball and sauce spaghetti dinner. It was a recipe from their Italian family.
It was so delicious!

PS Jeriah just had sweet pea baby food.

7 Months

7 Months
(31 weeks)

Jeriah is still holding at 20lbs 28"long.  He is getting more attentive and interactive.  We love it.  This is the fun stage.  He's becoming more mobile. It's a little scary now since we have to keep an eye on him almost at all times. He is getting better at the army crawl, still not fully crawling though.  He can stay sitting up longer on his own but not too long.  Although we have to sit him up, unless he is reclined then he can do it on his own.  Something we have notice too is that he likes sleeping on his side and tummy now.  We lay him down on his back and he turns over on his own to those positions.  It's funny that he likes both those sleep positions because Aimy likes to sleep on her left side and Andy likes to sleep on his tummy.
His new babbles that he says often now is "EHHH" and "OPA".  And we think his first word is "PAPA" although he repeated it after Andy said it.  So it wasn't really directed to him.  But we are waiting to see if he repeats it again. We've also been teaching him to sign different things, especially "milk". He is now barely starting to sign it back to me.  We're getting there!

This past weekend we had our Regional Convention.  Jeriah's first 3 day!  We planned ahead of time by studying the program and reading the scriptures for each talk.  Getting familiarized with it helped on occasions when we didn't get to focus because of Jeriah.  We put our name next to the talks we wanted to pay attention to and write notes on.  So we had one notebook for the both of us, and we would hand off the baby to the other when it was our turn next to write notes,  We also tried to make it easier on us and Jeriah by dividing up the days and making it shorter.  We did this by attending another convention beforehand on Friday and Saturday afternoons.  So when it was time for our convention we just went to the mornings on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday was the only long day.  He did pretty good considering.  He slept some in the moring and in the afternoon.  We also brought the Bumbo seat and carrier to be hands free. We met new friends and even Jeriah got passed from person to person with no problem.  Everyone thought he was a cutey.  We enjoyed it so much!  We wish we can do it again.
