4 Months Old
(18 weeks)
Our little boy is growing up so fast. Jeriah now weighs about 19 lbs and is 25 1/2" long.
Every day is a learning experience. While changing his diapers, he reaches his toes and holds on to them. He was smiling and laughing the first time he did so. He is getting better at holding his head and chest up off the ground when doing tummy time. He starts to lean over a little but hasn't dared to roll over yet. But we're working on it! When he is laying in his bouncy chair, we hold is hands and say "Come", and he does a little sit-up. So funny and cute! He also likes to hold on to his binky (pacifier or dummy) and tries to put it back in his mouth. Now that he is teething (no teeth yet just pain in his gums) he has trouble sleeping and cries. He puts his hands in his mouth to sooth pain but does not like teething toys. Although we did received a gift of a wooden teething toy made for babies and he seems to like to put that in his mouth.
He is very vocal especially when you can tell he is frustrated because he is sleepy/hungry. But I still love his laughs and how he chuckles.
This past month we got to enjoy Jeriah's first Memorial and Circuit Assembly. He slept mostly thru both. Yay! He's great grandparents finally got to meet him as well. Its been a eventful month.
